It may happen that you changed your WiFi/MQTT password and Glow Worm Luciferin device stops responding because it can't connect to the network anymore.
If this is the case you have 2 options to reset your Glow Worm Luciferin device and set a new password.
- Connect an USB cable to the ESP and reinstall the firmware using the Web Installer.
- If you are not able to connect an USB cable to the ESP because your ESP is now far from your PC you can do the following:
- Power off the ESP device.
- Luciferin will try to connect to the old network using the old password for 3 minutes, after 3 minutes Luciferin give up and turn on red the LEDs for 3 minutes (LEDs will stay on for 3 minutes and then turn off if no action is taken). You can now reboot the device using the reboot button placed on the ESP, if your ESP does not have a reboot button, simply unplug/plug the power.
- Reboot the ESP three times. On every reboot Luciferin will turn the LEDs in a different color (Red, Green, Blu, Orange).
- Once the LEDs are turned on in orange Luciferin will start a WiFi access point, connect to the Luciferin WiFi network using your PC or your phone.
- Once connected to the Luciferin network, simply open a browser on http://192.168.4.1.
- Your Luciferin device can now be reset with new settings.
