PSA: pytest-freezegun superseded by pytest-dev/pytest-freezer

Hey all,
PSA to say that pytest-dev seems to have taken over this project by forking and renaming to pytest-freezer.

The api has not changed so you can pip uninstall pytest-freezegun && pip install pytest-freezer and continue as normal! ⏳

It doesn't seem to be a fork of pytest-freezegun, rather it's a plugin that makes use of it? At least its pyproject.toml files lists it as a requirement: https://github.com/pytest-dev/pytest-freezer/blob/a18bef5a61d49bc2d3ade4feb10589164d5fae92/pyproject.toml#L14.

Perhaps it monkey patches it?

Hi, pytest-freezer author here. To clear up some confusion:

• It is not a fork of pytest-freezegun, it is a rewrite.
• The dependency is on freezegun, not on pytest-freezer.
