This patch makes it possible for other beam languages, like alpaca, to specify the shell. Example can be seen in https://github.com/alpaca-lang/rebar_prv_alpaca/blob/shell/src/rebar_prv_alpaca_shell.erl#L56 which uses https://github.com/lepoetemaudit/alpaca-repl/blob/master/src/alpaca_shell.erl
