Heart Rate Options - -
→ Heart Rate service outside FTMS Off Heart Rate Service Outside FTMS: For iOS Users and Android Users using Android v9.0 or older, this setting enables the qDomyos App to create a new bluetooth service for the heart rate instead of adding it to FTMS. In short: If you are not using Android v10.0+ and you use qDomyos with zwift, leave it enabled, in all the other cases, disable it.
→ Disable HRM from Machinery Off Some machinery have an integrated HRM. Some of them are completely shit :D (Domyos treadmill for example). So this option, if enabled, will give you the opportunity to disable the reading and you can use an external one
→ HeartBelt Name Disabled Heart Belt Name: select your heart rate belt if you have one or leave it to disabled if you don’t have any. If your heart rate will not appear, just click the “REFRESH DEVICES LIST” button and wait 10-20 seconds and check again the combo list.
Note: Apple Watch users should leave this setting disabled.
Use Miles unit in UI Off Toggle on to display distance in Miles, otherwise distance will be in Kilometers.
Pause when App Starts Off By default, QZ will start a ride as soon as the app is started and connected to the bike. Toggle on to start the app in paused mode, requiring the user to manually start a ride.
Continuous Moving Off This option is useful when you will do a Bootcamp workout: in this way the timer will keep counting even if your cadence is 0.

Bike Options

Setting Default Value Description
Speed calculates on Power Off Every bike calculates speed based on the cadence. If you want that the speed will be calculated based on your wattage (as zwift does) you need to turn on this setting.
Zwift Workout/Erg Mode Off "ON" means ERG mode is activated and will be used in Zwift for workouts and intervalls(https://youtu.be/5KIY3sBvaVs). It will automatically adjust your resistance to match the target(Watts) based on your cadence(rpm). It also means Slopes will not interfer with the resitance targeted by your exercice. "OFF" means ERG mode is always deactivated and SIMULATION Mode is always activated. It is supposed to adjust the resistance according to the slope but it not always working as expected.
Zwift Resistance Offset: 4 Zwift Resistance Offset: Forget about gears. You need to get yourself into the mindset of being on a Fixie (single geared bike). You’re best thinking of this setting as your fixed, single gear. It’s like the gear you feel comfortable spinning on a flat with. This will differ depending on your strength and fitness, so you’ll want to play about with it.
Note: this setting is only applicable for bikes supporting electronically controlled resistance.
Zwift Resistance Gain: 1 Zwift Resistance Gain: This scales the resistance taken from your bike before reporting it to Zwift. Logically, the default is set to 1. But if you’re feeling a disconnect in speed between what you’re doing and what you’re seeing reflected on screen in Zwift then you may want to consider tweaking this. For example, a value of 1.25 will result in a 25% faster visual speed in Zwift, since this is determined by your resistance and cadence. It's worth mentioning this is technically “gaming” or cheating Zwift so you need to weigh up the importance you place on virtual simulation vs a real world simulation.
Note: this setting is only applicable for bikes supporting electronically controlled resistance
Zwift ERG Watt Up Filter: 0 When you're in ERG mode, zwift sends a target power request. If the power requested doesn't match the current power from your bike considering your current cadence and resistance level, the resistance changes to help you get closer to the target keeping your current cadence. If the filter is set to 0 watt, the resistance level will often adjusted to help you to get closer to the target in Zwift considering your current cadence. On the other end, if the filter is set to higher values, you will get less adjustment of the resistance and you will have to work more on your cadence to match that target in Zwift. These settings are the upper and lower margin before the adjustment of the resistance are attempted. Example : if the up and down filters are set to 10 and the goal is 100 Watts, a change of your resistance will only be attempted if your bike produces less than 90 Watts or more than 100 Watts.
Zwift ERG Watt Down Filter: 0 check the previous one
Resistance at Startup: 1 The resistance value that QZ will set at the startup of QZ
