First time setting up QZ on a S22i. Wasn’t able to use method one for the companion because it couldn’t establish ADB. Used method 2 and am at the point where the tiles appear on the QZ app but all read 0.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open QZ app
  2. See tiles appear as 0

You can install the apk directly from https://cxfileexplorer.com/

I have tried to do that. Here is what I come across.

I try to click on the older version and any one of the older ones I try to download it puts it in the downloads but just says queued and won’t do anything else.

You can unzip from your pc or Mac and put on a link on Dropbox or Google drive so you can access from there

Thanks for that. I got that downloaded to the bike and it opens no problem. I selected my bike. Did a manual workout but still reading all 0s. Restarted the bike and tried again. It’s working! Thank you! Now I have a question about MyWhoosh. I select the wahoo kickr 0000 as my power but it shows all 0s and the bike just stays still. I’m on an iPhone and have both apps open on the same phone. Do I need the QZ setup on a different phone or the MyWhoosh app on my laptop?

Thanks I tried it out this morning. It was working this time but the watts would go from 105ish down to 10. It kept doing this back and forth. Here is a log while on my whoosh but enabling the debug made it lag a lot so hopefully the log is fine.

@dirtbike2200 a full debug log with the log from the bike too would be better but anyway i tried to create a patch

https://github.com/cagnulein/QZCompanionNordictrackTreadmill/actions/runs/12505173829/artifacts/2363569566

let me know if it's better

Now we are back to reading all 0s. Went in and deleted the old one and installed the new one. Restarted the bike a couple different times. Here is a log. This is the only log I know how to do so if you need one from the bike I’m not sure how to do that.

@dirtbike2200 In this companion did you see a ocr flag in the main screen? If so you need to enable this

I'm going to bed, in case I will check it tomorrow

I didn’t see anything different in this one than the last one.

@dirtbike2200 It seems like the ocr engine is not working or it doesn't have the permission. Could you please try to install the previous one to confirm that it's working?

Okay so I have worked on it this morning. I think the phone I’m using QZ on is too old maybe. I cannot get it to show data on the tiles with either companion now. The QZ app would just freeze up or shutdown. Tried on my current phone that is a lot newer and it reads instantly. I will download MyWhoosh on my laptop and try it that way. Thanks

Been awhile! My whoosh will not work on windows. Seems like me and everyone else have trouble opening it. Tried on my old phone again and it didn’t work at first but once the ifit warm up was done and it started the actual workout the data popped up in the tiles. I did a short mywhoosh ride and it is still doing the fluctuation I’m watts. I’m trying to upload a log but maybe the ride was too long so I’ll do a shorter one and send. Also what device do I select? It old worked on mywhoosh by selecting the iPhone one.

Wahoo kickr if it works is always the best choice

That one does not do anything. Here is a log I did today.

i don't understand: what should i see in the video?

@dirtbike2200

It’s just a video of the bike watts reading but the watts on the QZ app dropping down to like 6. The log I attached was from this same ride.
