This Roadmap is our timeframe for when certain features will appear. This is our general plan and it should give you a rough outline of Dash going forward. For an up-to-date snapshot, look at the issues & milestones.

Upcoming Milestones

0.6.0 - April 13, 2014

Milestone 6 is our last major feature push before Imagine RIT and the end of the semester.

  • Finish Awesomium Implementation (for Windows)
  • Begin CEF Implementation
  • Integrate Speed into Dash
  • Convert Animation to Shared
  • Replace GOC with Scenes
  • Graphics Improvements (Transparency, Shadows, misc. fixes)

0.7.0 - April 27, 2014

Milestone 7 is our last milestone before Imagine RIT. We will be working with the game team to smooth any rough edges and fix bugs. We will also improve and rewrite large portions of our Wiki and Documentation.

Completed Milestones

0.1.0

The goal of this milestone is to be stable enough for game developers to begin creating a game using the engine. It will not be feature-complete by a long shot, but Dash should be capable of running script, loading objects, and rendering them.

0.2.0

The engine team has the wonderful opportunity to develop features for two weeks without requests from the game team.
