Regression (Preview): active line number no longer highlighted

In the latest Preview release, the active line number is no longer highlighted. This makes it difficult to see which line is highlighted when navigating search results via the outline panel. This is especially true if the current line highlights are off or with a theme with a subtle background highlight.

Specifically, the theme key editor.active_line_number now seems to be ignored.

This still works in the stable release. I suspect this regressed in #22167.

On the left is the Stable release and Preview on the right. Line 11 is the active line in both. Only the line number in the Stable release is highlighted. This was screenshotted in the Andromeda theme, but occurs in all themes.
