Should uploading maps on the website still be possible?

Since uploading and downloading a map as add-on is easy, i want to ask if the possibility to upload maps on the website should still be possible.

I think there should be only one place for uploading maps, just to prevent having a map here and having a map there. Also to prevent confusion like "Do you refer to the map from the website or the map from the add-on?".

The main downside for maps as add-on from my point of view is: They can't be linked from the forum. So if one is talking about a map in the forum every one has to start widelands to find it.

Any opinions?
