Fuzzy text in apps

Distro: Fedora 40 workstation
I'm on a 4k monitor @ 175% scaling, and I've noticed that text in a few apps doesn't look sharp, and appears simply zoomed-in (fuzzy and slightly pixelated). I've seen this in Brave browser and VSCode. Not sure if it's an app issue or a scaling issue...

Same. 1920x1080 IPS Lenovo screen at 125% scaling. All apps in the Cosmic ISO were fine. Emacs from the apt repos (so 29.0.3) was unusable. Not tried in other apps/programs.

Issue with Xwayland apps in the moment. Better (although still imperfect, limitation of X11 really) scaling for these apps will come soon.
