Hi,
Great stuff - thanks a bunch!
Is there a great app that works with libraries to borrow audiobooks? And electronic books? If not, why not? And if so, please let us know. Or perhaps there's a way to 1) boycott bad apps, and 2) borrow from libraries anyway.
Libby is pretty bad. It stubbornly refuses to play many (but not all - unsure why) books after they've been fully downloaded if there are any restraints upon its constant communications with HQ (or the five-eyes network or C.M. Burns or whomever). It's disconcerting.
Libraries are supposed to be the opposite of tracking and censorship (though many today track patrons for inferior 'business'-like that compromise principles for what amounts to a capitalistic obsession with what i'll simplify as profitability).
psa: there are many reasons to condemn audible LLC and all other once acceptable / now evil companies swallowed up by amazon LLC.
Help!
Thanks again.
P.S. -- apologies if i've breached etiquette or posted in the wrong place. (What do you advise?)
