Hi, I've been trying to upload my enrollment certificate on education to finish up application, but constantly throws below error

Your application cannot be reviewed until you fix the following:

Please upload an image to help us understand why you are so far from campus (for example: proof that your classes are all remote or the address of a closer campus location we may not know about)
Please upload an image that is less than 1MB in size
Please select the reason for being far from campus.
Binary data can't be blank

I'm using my iphone to capture the certificate and I'm not away from the campus, so not sure why I am not getting such error.

It's most likely the file size since the limit is 1MB.

Try using an app which compresses images, or for better results, transfer your image to a computer and use image compression software to make the file size smaller.

Thanks for the answer. Current website doesn't allow uploading image from my pc and I have tried capturing with webcam which for sure captures image less than 1MB.

Hi @canoneod ,

Regarding the image size issue, your phone probably takes photos larger than 1MB in which case I recommend you use an image compressor (there are many online).

Regarding the "away from campus" problem, it's possible that GitHub has incorrect information about your school, contact support by opening a ticket here, select "My selected school has incorrect or incomplete information e.g. domains or campus location" and explain your issue.

Also ensure you don't have A VPN enabled, and attempt it while connected to your schools wifi (if possible) @canoneod

Thanks for the answer! I am currently using campus network without vpn, so that won't be the issue. I've opened a ticket regarding school information, and hopefully they solve my issue.
