Hello everyone,

I have a problem with the installation of react-router-dom. When the command runs, everything works, but it is not present in the dependencies in package.json. Here is the error message. Do you have any advice?

npm 11.0.0

According to the screenshot, I think it is due to the version issues. However, it is very hard to know the root cause without delving deeper into your project. The following is one potential solution u could try:

step 1

First of all, ensure the version of react-router-dom is compatible with your react and react-dom versions.

npm view react-router-dom peerDependencies

step 2

You could try to clear cache and then reinstall.

npm cache clean --force
npm install react-router-dom --save

If you really could not find any workable solution, maybe you could try deleting the whole node_modules and reinstalling all:

rm -rf node_modules package-lock.json
npm install

Unfortunately, the problem still exists, I have also searched generically online and followed the suggestions of others, but unfortunately I cannot find a solution. I have checked the official documentation of React Router and there seems to be no problem with the versions I am using.
