While I was out away from home today, I was writing code in the Nixill/CSharp.Nixill submodule of the Nixill/JoltBot repository, in a codespace created within the latter. I was able to pull the changes from the repositories in question with no problem, but noticed I had to manually install the C# Dev Kit extension despite having done so in that codespace in the past.

When I got home, I returned to the codespace on a different device. The C# Dev Kit extension is gone yet again, and I am not able to push any submodules; I receive an error similar to...

You don't have permissions to push to "Nixill/CSharp" on GitHub. Would you like to create a fork and push to it instead?

... for all of them.

I have not changed the devcontainer.json file recently, and permissions were working fine earlier. Why can't I push my changes now? And why do extensions keep disappearing?

   Extensions in GitHub Codespaces are installed in the container environment and may not persist if the container is re-created. This often happens if you switch devices or if the codespace is rebuilt.
   Solution: To ensure the C# Dev Kit extension persists, add it to the devcontainer.json file. Include it in the extensions property like so:
