How can I make the select only display the list of options downward?

Hi guys, Im trying to make a flex div in which there are 2 components. The first one is a custom input text which is used as a search text input in which I will take to modify the options shown in the select. So, Im making this, making the search text input visible at the same time as the select opens.
So the question is, how can I make the select opens downward only 👍
