Some accidentals in SMuFL, such as the Johnston accidentals, are designed to be combined with other accidentals. At present, this is only possible by inserting the Johnston accidental as a symbol and manually moving it to the correct position on the accidental that it modifies. This makes extended use of these accidentals impractical in MuseScore. Adding the recommended ligatures as unique accidental symbols would make them much more usable.
Note that this problem also exists with other microtonal notation systems, such as the Extended Helmholtz-Ellis accidentals (just intonation) supplement, and the Herculean, Olympian and Magrathean Sagittal diacritics, but I'm making this suggestion about the Johnston accidentals specifically because their SMuFL page appears to suggest a relatively straightforward fix. To resolve the issue for these other systems, and even for the thirteen comma symbols in the Johnston system, someone would need to create similar combined symbols for all possible combinations, or a functionality would have to be developed that intelligently places the diacritic in relation to the accidental it modifies (which may be easier for some diacritics than others).

Your idea
Suggesting that the glyphs in the "Recommended ligatures" table at https://w3c.github.io/smufl/latest/tables/johnston-accidentals-just-intonation.html be added as unique accidental symbols.
