It would be great to have support for more decorator locations:

  • Allow decorations in tab titles
  • Allow decorations in the workspace tree
  • Allow decorations in the "Open editors" file names

For the decoration itself, we only really need to be able to:

  • Specify the color
  • Specify an icon (from Octicons)
    OR (if colored Octicons are not supported)
  • Specify a Unicode character (we can use a bullet point icon or something similar)
