Retroarch unable access config file

Current Behaviour

To retroarch is unable to access or create retroarch.cfg.

Expected Behaviour

To retroarch be able to.

Possible Solution

It seems that the installer creates a retroarch.cfg (and content_favorites.lpl & content_history.lpl) but in format of a folder which the program cannot access it.

I'm not a programmer myself but since the extras bucket version of retroarch this problem doesn't occur maybe the solution is in the "pre_install" property.

Deleting the retroarch.cfg "folder" fixes the problem.
