Any suggestion why a call to :

err = esp_ota_begin(update_partition, OTA_SIZE_UNKNOWN, &update_handle);

may freeze and trigger wtd ?

Hi,
sorry i dont know. Maybe its related to esp-idf version. This repository and code was tested with old esp-idf version (v3.0 or older, dont remember).
It is also possible its problem somewhere else.
