setting beep volume to zero disables esc

Using a G071 64k ESC
Using MultiESC Config QT tool
Using a 12n14p outrunning brushless motor

We are observing that setting Beep Volume to 0 will result in the motor not responding in any way to power up or pwm throttle input.
The motor will not start spinning when raising PWM tester's throttle.

If we set the Beep Volume to 1, the motor will respond. And sound is inaudible.
