Details

  • Atom version: 1.47.0 x64
  • Julia version: 1.4.1
  • OS: Windows
  • Package versions:
    • Atom.jl: 0.12.10
    • julia-client: 0.6.0
    • ink: 0.6.1

Steps to reproduce

Similar to bug #412, so I did the apm uninstall julia-client and the apm install julia-client

It's now really messed up. Before it was just the two short messages... julia has exited, hit return to restart julia..... but now it's much more complicated. In fact, right now, right after startup I have TWO console window hosts and TWO Julias. And everytime I hit return in Julia, it ends up starting TWO Julias, and TWO console window host processes in process manager.

That's very wrong. The base Julia works fine outside of Atom. Just the Julia processes in atom are messed up. I've uninstalled julia-client and installed several times. Still messed up.

Happy to do an interactive session if you want. It's pretty weird and I'm totally stuck now.

I'm facing the same issue ("Press Enter to start Julia. Julia has exited"). I'm running Atom 1.51.0 on Windows 10, with julia-client version 0.12.6 .
