Welcome to the WinPaletter wiki (Wiki is still under construction!)

WinPaletter is a portable application that helps you edit your Windows appearance in an advanced way, starting from Windows XP to Windows 11. In this wiki, instruction will be written to help you use this application

Application mechanism of working

  • WinPaletter creates multiple structures that contains data in your device's memory, each structure is responsible for a Windows feature.
  • For example, there is a structure for Windows main colors, a structure for classic Windows colors, a structure for metrics and fonts, and so on.

Requirements

Operation System Requirements
Windows 10, 11 WinPaletter Any Version + .Net Framework 4.8 is already pre-installed, so no extra step is required.
Windows 7, 8.1 WinPaletter 1.0.5.0 and Higher + .NET Framework 4.7, or 4.8 & reboot after this first setup Necessary
Windows Vista WinPaletter 1.0.7.1 and Higher + .NET Framework 4.8 Repacked. Read Windows Vista's documentation
Windows XP WinPaletter 1.0.7.1 and Higher + OneCoreAPI + .NET Framework 4.8 Repacked. You must read its documentation

You might need to update .net framework in outdated Windows 10
